A drum corps is about people. In the 50's and 60's, drum corps were a local activity. It seemed that almost every town had a drum corps. Often sponsored by a local American Legion or VFW, the corps only functioned because of the volunteers. We were the kids, the performers, but without the adults running the show, it never would have happened.
We're still looking for photos of the adults who were part of the Vagabonds. If anyone can help us out, please let us know.
